On Saturday 8 August 2026, Blacktown Montessori Academy officially opened its doors, bringing together local families, children, educators and community representatives to celebrate the arrival of our newest Montessori early learning service in Western Sydney.
Throughout the morning, families were invited to explore the new childcare and preschool campus at their own pace. Children quickly made themselves at home in the classrooms and outdoor spaces, discovering Montessori materials and joining hands-on learning experiences, while parents had the opportunity to meet our educators, learn more about the daily program and see how each environment has been thoughtfully prepared to support children from infancy to six years of age.
The occasion was made even more special by the attendance of Stephen Bali MP, Federal Member for Blacktown; Blacktown City Council Deputy Mayor Carol Israel; and Father Larry Tolentino. We were grateful to have them join our families and team in marking this exciting milestone for the Blacktown community.
Beyond the classrooms, there was plenty for children to discover. Face painting, balloons and an interactive animal farm brought an extra sense of fun to the day, while families enjoyed freshly baked pizza and refreshments together. Lucky door prizes added to the celebrations, but it was seeing children confidently explore their new surroundings and families connecting with our team that made the morning particularly memorable.
The Grand Opening marked an exciting beginning for Blacktown Montessori Academy, and we look forward to becoming part of the local community as we welcome our first families and begin a new chapter of Montessori early education in Blacktown.
