Montessori Academy was delighted to celebrate the official Grand Opening of Heidelberg West Montessori Academy on Friday 16 October, welcoming local families, community members and distinguished guests for a memorable day of learning, connection and celebration.
The event marked an exciting milestone for the Heidelberg West community, as families were invited to explore the centre’s purpose-built Montessori learning environments, meet our dedicated educators and discover the benefits of Montessori education firsthand.
We were honoured to be joined by special guests Councillor Mary O’Kane from Banyule City Council and Father Vinh Nguyen from St John’s Parish, who participated in the official opening ceremony and helped commemorate this important occasion for local families.
The celebration brought together prospective and enrolled families for a fun-filled morning of activities and entertainment. Children enjoyed face painting, balloon twisting and a range of engaging sporting activities hosted by IFA Sports, Montessori Academy’s official sporting partner. Families also had the opportunity to explore the classrooms, interact with Montessori learning materials and connect with educators while enjoying complimentary refreshments.
The Grand Opening reflected Montessori Academy’s ongoing commitment to creating exceptional educational experiences for children and fostering strong connections within the communities we serve.
We extend our sincere thanks to Councillor Mary O’Kane, Father Vinh Nguyen, IFA Sports, our families, educators and community members who joined us in celebrating this special occasion.
