Childcare Jobs In Sydney – Careers

If you are considering a career in early childhood education or looking for work placement opportunities while you study, then you’re in the right place! Montessori Academy supports new and emerging educators by offering childcare traineeships in Sydney and NSW. No experience required.

Trainees receive on-the-job training and mentorship from industry leaders, and get paid while they work towards their Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.

Unlike play-based childcare centres and preschools, Montessori Academy nurtures the uniqueness of each child and provides an early learning experience that prepares them, not only for school, but for life.

In a Montessori classroom, educators serve as a link between the Prepared Environment and the children. Their role is to observe the children and guide them in their own unique learning process, to help them develop a life-long love of learning. Activities and learning experiences are implemented to suit each child’s current interests, needs and stage of development, to allow them to learn at their own pace. The educator-child relationship is based on trust and respect, which creates a positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning journey.

Teaching in a Montessori environment is very rewarding for educators who have a passion for early childhood and for supporting children reach their full potential.
