What does a truly child-focused community look like? Sometimes, it looks like preschool children being the very first to bring a new community playground to life. It reflects investment that recognises children, education, wellbeing, and belonging as the foundations of thriving communities.

We were delighted to join the official opening of the Village Green and community precinct at Midtown MacPark, marking an exciting milestone for this growing and vibrant community.

It was a special morning alongside our partners at Frasers Property, Mission Australia, and Homes NSW, celebrating the launch of this incredible 3,300sqm community precinct.

We were especially excited for the children from Midtown MacPark Montessori Academy Preschool to be among the first to officially trial the new playground. Watching the children explore, discover, and engage with the space highlighted exactly why thoughtfully designed community environments matter.

At Montessori Academy, we know that high quality early childhood education extends far beyond the classroom. It is also about the communities we help shape and the environments where children and families grow, connect, and belong.

Speaking at the event, Nicolle Nasr, Head of Governance and Corporate Affairs at Montessori Academy, shared Montessori Academy’s strong support for investment in community spaces that bring families together and help create welcoming neighbourhoods for children to thrive in.

“As a provider of high quality early childhood education in this community, we strongly support initiatives that strengthen local communities and support families as they settle into their new homes and build lasting connections,” said Ms Nasr.

Spaces like the Village Green, with its landscaped open areas, community centre, walking paths, and bush tucker garden, play an important role in childhood development by encouraging curiosity, confidence, creativity, and joyful play.

Congratulations to Frasers Property and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life.
