On Saturday 18th April, Montessori Academy proudly opened the doors to Hurstville Montessori Academy, located at 17 Vine Street, Hurstville NSW 2220. With now over 70 centres nationally, this milestone represents our continued commitment to bringing high-quality Montessori education to growing communities across Sydney.
The Grand Opening welcomed a vibrant mix of local families, children, educators and community members, all eager to explore the learning environment. The classrooms are intentionally designed and reflect the Montessori philosophy, rich with hands-on materials that encourage independence, curiosity, and meaningful engagement from infancy through to preschool.
Throughout the day, the centre came to life as children participated in guided Montessori experiences and enjoyed a range of family-friendly activities. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with our educators, gain insight into the Montessori approach, and see firsthand how children are supported to build confidence, focus, and a genuine love of learning.
We were honoured to be joined by Zhi Soon – MP for Banks, Ash Ambihaipahar – MP for Barton, Councillors Nancy Liu and Ben Wang from Georges River Council, and Father Tomasz Lepek from St Michael’s Parish. Their presence highlighted the importance of strong local connections and shared investment in early childhood education within the Hurstville community.

Hurstville Montessori Academy offers more than early learning, it provides a carefully prepared environment where children are empowered to develop at their own pace, build essential life skills, and transition smoothly into primary school.
If you missed the Grand Opening, we warmly invite you to book a personalised tour and experience the Montessori difference for yourself.
