Saturday 15th June 2024 marked the Grand Opening of Greystanes Montessori Academy. The event was a tremendous success, drawing in over 500 guests for a day filled with fun, learning, and community spirit. The event showcased our childcare centre’s offerings through childcare tours, exciting Montessori activities, and delicious catering, creating an unforgettable experience for families.
Special Guests & Ribbon Cutting
The event was graced by Cumberland City Councillor Greg Cummings, Councillor Mohamad Hussein, and Fr Charbel Abboud. Alongside Montessori Academy Group’s leadership team, including Director Colette Assaf, CEO Charles Assaf, and COO Rami Nassif, they cut the red ribbon to officially mark the Grand Opening of Greystanes’ newest Montessori childcare and early learning centre.

Our knowledgeable staff guided families through our purpose-built facilities, from vibrant classrooms to our well-equipped outdoor play areas. Parents had the opportunity to meet our passionate educators, learn about our Montessori curriculum, and observe firsthand the nurturing environment we provide for children.

Animal Farm and Petting Zoo: A Crowd Favourite
One of the day’s highlights was the animal farm and petting zoo, which delighted children and adults alike. Children had the chance to interact with a variety of friendly animals, from fluffy bunnies to curious goats.
Delicious Catering: Pizza and BBQ
No event is complete without delicious food, and our catering did not disappoint. Guests enjoyed a mouth-watering selection of pizzas and BBQ delights, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, adding to the festive atmosphere. Families gathered in the outdoor play area, sharing meals and conversations, meeting likeminded individuals within our Montessori community.

Greystanes Montessori Academy is currently awaiting Service Approval assessment from the Department of Education. The first day of operations will be confirmed shortly after this is granted. In the meantime, families are welcome to enquire about private tours (available from July 2024) and waiting list options for future enrolments.
