Montessori Academy’s Gungahlin childcare centre is conveniently located on Level One of the Big W Building in Gungahlin Marketplace at 33 Hibberson Street, Gungahlin ACT 2912. Our Gungaghlin childcare centre for ages 0-6 offers nutritious catered meals, nappies and wipes, is sun-safe, allergy aware, and is open long daycare hours from 7:30am – 6:00pm on Monday to Friday.
Featuring a contemporary single-story design, our childcare centre in Gungahlin offers five spacious Montessori classrooms for children aged six weeks to six years. Each classroom is filled with unique educational materials that connect with children’s interests and needs at each stage of development to provide them with the optimal environment for learning.
About Gungahlin
Beyond the classroom, our Gungahlin childcare centre has four exceptional outdoor play spaces enriched with a range of gross motor activities to inspire learning through exploration. The 0-2 outdoor spaces feature gardens, a sandpit, climbing equipment, mud kitchen, soft spaces, slide, soft fall animals, water play, and plenty of room to crawl, walk, and run. In the 2-6 outdoor spaces, children have access to a fort, rock climbing wall, climbing equipment, slides, bike track, dramatic play corner, dress ups, sandpit, gardens, water play, plus so much more.
The team at Gungahlin Montessori Academy are passionate Montessori educators who personalise the curriculum to suit each child. They observe children’s interests, direct them towards activities suited to their stage of development, and create a positive atmosphere for learning that allows children to discover learning outcomes in their own time.
