Why Families Choose Our Parramatta Childcare Centres

Fees & Child Care Subsidy

Quality Parramatta Childcare Made Affordable

All of our Parramatta childcare centres are approved Child Care Subsidy (CCS) providers. Most families with a household income under $530,000 are eligible for CCS, which can significantly reduce your daily out-of-pocket costs.

From 5 January 2026, the 3-Day Guarantee means all CCS-eligible families are guaranteed at least 72 hours of subsidised care per fortnight, regardless of work, study, or training hours.

About the hourly rate cap: The government calculates CCS based on an hourly rate cap of $14.63/hr (equivalent to $146.30 for a 10-hour day). If your centre's daily fee is higher than the cap, the subsidy is only calculated on $146.30 — not the full fee. You pay the difference between the cap and the actual fee on top of your gap fee. This is why families at some centres may have a higher out-of-pocket cost than expected.
About the 5% withholding: The government withholds 5% of your CCS entitlement as a buffer against overpayments. This is reconciled at tax time and may be returned to you.
⚠️ This is an estimate only. Actual CCS entitlements depend on your activity test, immunisation status, and other factors assessed by Services Australia. For accurate information, visit Services Australia

Parramatta childcare, early learning and preschool

About Montessori Academy

For more than 25 years, Montessori Academy has been providing exceptional childcare, daycare, and preschool programs that prepare children not just for school, but for life. Today, more than 100,000 families have trusted Montessori Academy as their early education partner, benefiting from a proven educational approach backed by over 100 years of Montessori philosophy and practice.

Unlike traditional childcare, our Montessori daycare and preschool programs are designed around how children naturally learn. Within carefully prepared environments, children engage with hands-on Montessori materials, develop independence, build confidence, and progress at their own pace under the guidance of highly trained Montessori educators and Early Childhood Teachers.

What to Look for in a Parramatta Childcare Centre

Choosing the right Parramatta childcare centre is an important decision. While factors such as location, opening hours, and facilities matter, it is equally important to understand the educational program, the experience of the educators, and the learning outcomes children achieve each day. We are proud of our experienced Montessori educators and Early Childhood Teachers who place children’s safety, wellbeing, learning, and development at the heart of everything they do.

When visiting a childcare centre, look beyond the toys and playgrounds. Observe how educators interact with children, whether children are engaged in meaningful learning experiences, and how the environment supports independence, concentration, confidence, and school readiness. Ask how the service prepares children for their transition to primary school and what makes its educational approach different.

Our Parramatta Childcare, Daycare and Preschool Programs

Families choose Entrada Parramatta Montessori Academy and North Parramatta Academy because they are looking for more than traditional childcare. Our Parramatta daycare and preschool programs combine authentic Montessori education with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), providing children with strong academic foundations while nurturing creativity, resilience, problem-solving skills, and emotional wellbeing.

From infancy through to preschool, every classroom is carefully prepared for a specific stage of development, ensuring children have access to the right learning environment, Montessori materials, and educational opportunities at the right time. Through hands-on learning and personalised guidance, children develop the confidence, independence, and capability needed to thrive at school and beyond. As one of our leading Sydney childcare centres, our Parramatta locations are dedicated to supporting your child’s unique journey with care, warmth, and excellence.

The best way to experience the Montessori difference is to visit in person. We invite you to book a tour of our Parramatta childcare centres, meet our experienced educators, explore our Montessori classrooms, and discover how we help children build the foundations for an extraordinary future.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to feel confident before getting started at one of our Parramatta Childcare Centres.

What is the difference between Montessori and standard childcare? +

Montessori education is a child-led approach where children choose their own activities from a carefully prepared environment. Rather than following a teacher-directed timetable, children work at their own pace, guided by educators who act as facilitators rather than instructors.

This approach fosters deep independence, concentration, and a genuine love of learning from a very early age — qualities that serve children well beyond their time at our Parramatta childcare centres and into their school years and beyond.

Our focus isn't on entertaining children. It's on activating their natural desire to learn.

What ages do your Parramatta centres cater for? +

Both Montessori Academy centres in Parramatta cater for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age, covering infant, toddler, and preschool rooms.

Whether you are looking for infant care in North Parramatta, a toddler program near the Parramatta CBD, or a structured preschool program to prepare your child for Kindergarten at a local school such as Parramatta North Public School, Burnside Public School, or The King's School, we have a place for your child at every stage.

Are your centres eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)? +

Yes. Both Montessori Academy centres in Parramatta are approved childcare services, meaning families may be eligible for the Australian Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Montessori Academy charges a daily fee rate, and your CCS entitlement is applied directly to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

Many families across Parramatta, North Parramatta, Westmead, Northmead, Harris Park, and Rydalmere are pleasantly surprised by how affordable high-quality Montessori education can be once their CCS is applied. Our Family Care Team can help you understand your entitlement and estimate your weekly costs before you enrol.

How do I enrol my child at one of Montessori Academy's Parramatta Childcare Centres? +

The first step is to book a tour at your preferred Parramatta centre. Our centre manager will personally show you around, answer your questions, and walk you through the enrolment process at your own pace.

A tour is one of the best ways to experience the Montessori difference for yourself — you will see how children move purposefully through their environment, choose their own work, and engage deeply with their learning. We warmly encourage you to bring your child along too.

If you would prefer to speak with someone first, our Family Care Team is available on 1300 000 162 and would love to help you find the right fit for your family.

What is the NQS rating for your Parramatta centres? +

Both Parramatta Montessori Academy centres are rated Meeting the National Quality Standard (NQS) by ACECQA, Australia's national regulatory authority for early childhood education and care.

You can verify either centre's NQS rating directly at the ACECQA National Register.

How is Montessori different to play-based childcare? +

Montessori is a structured, hands-on approach to early learning where children learn through purposeful activity, repetition, and real understanding. Using scientifically designed materials in carefully prepared environments, children choose their own work, follow their own interests, and build independence, concentration, coordination, and academic foundations at their own pace.

The result is children who become capable, confident learners through meaningful experiences in practical life, language, mathematics, sensorial learning, culture, and social development — not just children who are kept busy and happy during the day.

Can I book a tour before enrolling? +

Absolutely — and we encourage it. A tour is the best way to experience Parramatta Montessori Academy for yourself. Come and see the Montessori work cycle in action, meet our team, and explore the classrooms and outdoor spaces your child will call their own.

If your preferred time isn't available online, please call our Family Care Team on 1300 000 162 and we will do our best to find a time that works for you.

What should I look for when comparing childcare centres in Parramatta? +

With a growing number of childcare options across Parramatta, North Parramatta, Westmead, Northmead, and the broader City of Parramatta area, it is worth looking beyond location and price to ask what your child will truly gain from the experience.

Consider what is included in the daily fee, how the program prepares children for school, how educators support each child's individual development, and whether the environment feels calm, safe, and purposeful. Ask about the centre's NQS rating, educator qualifications, and how they communicate with families day to day.

The right centre will not only care for your child — it will feel like a true early education partner, actively helping them grow into an independent, confident, and curious learner.
