for your child?

How old is your child?
What matters most to you in a childcare centre?
How does your child typically learn best?

Montessori is a great fit for your child.

Based on your answers, your child is exactly the kind of learner Montessori was designed for. The prepared environment, self-correcting materials, and 3-hour work cycle will support their natural learning style. We'd love to show you around.

The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn.

Why Montessori works

Education programs that nurture children as capable individuals

Backed by over 100 years of research, observation and proven educational practice, Montessori nurtures children’s natural curiosity, independence and love of learning from the very beginning.

Building Secure Foundations in the First Two Years

Our Infant Program (0–2 years) is thoughtfully structured across key developmental stages. Our educators support your child’s early development through strong relationships, movement, sensory exploration, language development, and early practical life skills within a calm, nurturing environment.

KEY DEVELOPMENTAL OUTCOMES

Secure attachment with key educators
Language-rich environment from birth
Gentle introduction to Montessori materials
Sensory exploration and motor development
Individual sleep and feeding routines
Daily family communication via app
Building Secure Foundations in the First Two Years
Nurturing Independence During the "I Do It Myself" Stage

Toddlers are driven by a powerful urge to do things for themselves. Our Toddler program channels this energy through practical life activities, movement, language, sensorial and social skill-building, all within a prepared environment that says "yes" to hands-on exploration.

KEY DEVELOPMENTAL OUTCOMES

Practical life and self-care skills
Vocabulary expansion through language work
Gross and fine motor development
Social skills and emotional regulation
Toilet learning support and guidance
Outdoor sensory and nature play
Nurturing Independence During the "I Do It Myself" Stage
Preparing Confident, Curious Learners for School and Life

Our Preschool and School Readiness Program is where the Montessori method truly shines. Children work independently with manipulative materials across five curriculum areas, developing the focus, problem-solving, and a natural passion for learning that sets them apart when they transition to primary school.

KEY DEVELOPMENTAL OUTCOMES

Early literacy and phonics readiness
Mathematical thinking with concrete materials
Cultural studies, geography & science
Extended concentration, resilience and focus
Peer collaboration and leadership
School transition preparation
Preparing Confident, Curious Learners for School and Life

Here's what can change

in just a few weeks

The earlier children begin Montessori, the more time they have to build independence, language, concentration and strong academic foundations naturally through each stage of development.

Before Montessori
Relies on adults to decide what to do next
Struggles to focus for more than a few minutes
Needs encouragement to try new things
Frustrated when they can't do something perfectly
Seeks adult assistance for everyday tasks
After starting at Montessori Academy
Chooses their own work and pursues it with confidence
Beginning to develop deep focus for extended periods
Approaches challenges with curiosity
Sees mistakes are part of learning — tries again
Building independence and confidence "I can do it myself"

In our plan for the education of little children we must create an attractive environment. Into this environment we must put everything that is good for the mind, along with an understanding and nurturing person.

The Montessori method is a child-led approach to early education developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Children learn at their own pace using specially designed hands-on materials in a prepared environment. Unlike traditional childcare, Montessori emphasises independence, intrinsic motivation, and mixed-age groupings that foster peer learning.

Yes. All Montessori Academy centres are assessed by ACECQA (Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority) and consistently rated Meeting or Exceeding the National Quality Standard (NQS).

The first two years are a remarkable period of brain development. Our Montessori infant program is purposefully designed to support this important stage through movement, language, sensory exploration and practical experiences.

In a calm, carefully prepared environment, your baby will begin developing coordination, communication, concentration, confidence and independence, building strong foundations for future learning from the very beginning.

It's one of the most common concerns parents have, and every child settles at their own pace. That's why Montessori never takes a one-size-fits-all approach. Our educators take the time to understand your child's routines, personality and stage of development, creating a gentle transition into a calm, carefully prepared environment where they feel safe, secure and supported.

As children become familiar with their surroundings, build trusting relationships and begin choosing purposeful activities independently, confidence naturally grows. Many families are surprised by how quickly their child begins looking forward to their Montessori days.
