Montessori Academy’s Croydon Child Care, Preschool, Day Care & Early Learning Centre delivers an exceptional Montessori Education Program for children aged 2 – 6 years in a long day care format. The Croydon campus is conveniently located at 57 Edwin Street South, Croydon, NSW 2132 next to Croydon Train Station and is open from 7:30am – 6:00pm on week days. Our Croydon Child Care Centre showcases three prepared Montessori classrooms that are specifically designed to cater to the unique developmental needs and interests of toddlers, and preschoolers. Each classroom offers a full suite of curated Montessori Materials that encourage children to explore the five Montessori Curriculum Areas, including: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Culture. Through hands-on learning experiences using the Montessori Materials, students develop foundational knowledge and skills through repetition and practice. Beyond the classroom, Montessori Academy’s Croydon Early Learning Centre offers a vibrant outdoor play areas complete with mud kitchen, fixed play equipment, imaginative play areas, veggie patch, gross motor activities, home corner, and sandpit. The seamless integration of engaging classrooms, and natural play spaces, offers children the ideal place to cultivate a life-long love of learning.

Montessori Academy’s Education Program for toddlers and preschoolers is child-centred and focused on providing students with the ideal learning environment, materials and guidance to achieve their full potential. In the Montessori classroom, children work in a thoughtfully prepared learning environment that is beautifully designed, organised by subject area, and appropriate to the age, interests and developmental stage of its students. Children enjoy freedom of movement and choice to explore the Montessori Materials in each Montessori Curriculum area and discover learning through hands-on experience. The role of the Montessori Teacher within this setting is to observe and guide each student based on their developmental needs and interests. As children progress through the Montessori Education Program, they develop intense concentration, strong academic and wellbeing foundations, intrinsic motivation, social and communication skills, environmental awareness, and a love of learning.
