What Our Families Say

Our child has been attending the Centre for almost a year now and we have nothing but praise for the Glebe Montessori Academy Team. Under the guidance of April, the educators care for and teach the children as if they were their own. Our little one has flourished under their care and guidance. The children benefit not only from excellent educators but from a beautiful indoor and outdoor environment. The outdoor environment in particular is so valuable for an inner city centre. We highly recommend the centre!

Montessori Curriculum

Glebe Preschool & Early Learning Curriculum

The Montessori Curriculum offers children five key areas of study: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture. Each learning area is made up of a set of Montessori materials that each teach one key knowledge area or skill. Through repetition and practice, children develop a foundational understanding of each material, and master the core competencies within each curriculum area.

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The Child Care Subsidy is a government payment that reduces families out-of-pocket costs for childcare, including: Centre Based Day Care, Family Day Care or Outside School Hours Care.

Each family’s Child Care Subsidy covers a percentage of the childcare centre’s daily fees. Families pay the gap fee. If you’re new to childcare we recommend that you apply for the claim as soon as possible. For more information, you can visit Services Australia.
