By Montessori Academy27/08/25

Montessori Academy hosted a fun open day for families at one of their Parramatta childcare and preschool centres on Saturday 23rd of August. The open day took place at the Entrada Montessori Academy located within Entrada Shopping Centre, 8/20 Victoria Road, Parramatta NSW 2150. At the event local families and community leaders came together for a fun-filled celebration, showcasing the centre’s commitment to quality early education and care.

The Entrada Montessori Academy Open Day in Parramatta was a vibrant celebration of early learning, drawing over 250 local guests. This exciting event offered families a first-hand look at our prepared early learning environments that are designed to support children from infancy through to preschool.

Guests had the opportunity to explore beautifully prepared Montessori classrooms, where children engaged in hands-on activities including practical life stations, sensory play, and skill-based learning. These Montessori activities are designed to nurture independence, spark curiosity, and support each child’s unique learning journey.

As part of the festivities, families enjoyed fresh pizza baked onsite, interactive animal farm, colourful face painting, and warm conversations with our passionate educators. The event was a true celebration of community, learning, and fun.

We were honoured to welcome special guests including Donna Davis – MP for Parramatta and Councillor Martin Zaiter – Lord Mayor of Parramatta, whose presence highlighted the importance of quality childcare and preschool options for families in Parramatta.

“It was wonderful to see so many families and friends at our Open Day. Our campus is a place where children are welcomed with open arms and hearts. Here at Entrada Montessori Academy our aim is for children to develop a love for learning in an environment that feels like a home away from home. This event was a wonderful way to share our Montessori approach to early education, connect with local families and celebrate our ever-growing community.” – Amanda S, Nominated Supervisor, Entrada Montessori Academy.

This Montessori childcare centre in Entrada is more than a daycare – it’s a supportive and enriching environment where children can thrive. Conveniently located in the heart of Parramatta with Entrada Shopping Centre just off Victoria Road, the centre is ideally positioned for busy families seeking high-quality preschool and daycare options.
