2022 Childcare Award Night at Montessori Academy

In November and December 2022, Montessori Academy hosted three major gala award nights to celebrate the achievements of early childhood educators in New South Wales, Victoria, and Australian Capital Territory.

Montessori Academy’s in-house events team adore a festive theme and couldn’t resist decking out each venue with beautiful décor.

In Sydney, over 500 staff members and special guests were transported back to the Roaring 1920s. Guests enjoyed a Great Gatsby-themed dance show, complete with flappers and feathers.

In Melbourne, early childhood educators were immersed in a Winter Wonderland with dreamy landscapes, snowflakes, snowy branches, and an elegant blue and white colour scheme, creating a magical atmosphere.

In Canberra, team members journeyed to the Middle East with an Arabian Nights-inspired theme. The venue was embellished with ornate decor and colourful flowers, vases, and chair sashes.

Each award night was an opportunity to celebrate the incredible early childhood education professionals in the Montessori Academy community and acknowledge their dedication to excellence in early childhood education.

During the ceremonies, key awards were presented to team members who have gone above and beyond in their roles. The awards recognised achievements in areas such as teaching excellence, community engagement, and exceptional leadership. Additionally, the evening also celebrated the anniversary milestones of various team members.

The employee award night was also an opportunity for team members to come together and celebrate their shared passion for early childhood education. With inspiring speeches, uplifting music, and dancing, each night was a true celebration of the Montessori Academy community spirit.
