Montessori Academy celebrates the Grand Opening of their 6th Melbourne childcare centre in Templestowe Lower
Saturday 19th November 2022 marked the Grand Opening of Montessori Academy’s 6th childcare centre and kinder in Melbourne: Templestowe Montessori Academy.
Featuring a contemporary two-story design, the brand-new Templestowe early learning centre, daycare, and kindergarten is nestled in peaceful suburban surrounds at 36-38 Parker Street, Templestowe Lower VIC 3107, within walking distance to Templestowe Village and the Yarra River. Templestowe Montessori Academy will offer Montessori Academy’s renowned early education programs for infant, toddler and preschool children across seven spacious Montessori classrooms and two beautiful outdoor play areas.
To celebrate the grand opening of this new Templestowe Lower early learning centre, Templestowe Montessori Academy hosted a tea party themed family fun day. During the event, families and special guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ luncheon, face-painting, balloon twisting, childcare tours, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
We were delighted to welcome around 500 guests, including notable guests Councillor Michelle Kleinert, and Father Charles Balnaves from St Kevin’s Catholic Church Templestowe.
Templestowe Montessori Academy anticipates to be operational in the coming months, pending licensing approval from the Department of Education. Once granted, the new childcare centre and preschool will be open weekdays 7:30am to 6:00pm.
