On Friday 14th November September, Montessori Academy celebrated the grand opening of their new Penrith Derby Street Childcare and Early Learning Centre at 170 Derby Street, Penrith NSW 2750. Montessori Academy’s Penrith Derby Street welcomed local families and community leaders for a fun-filled celebration, showcasing the centre’s commitment to quality early education and care.
The Penrith Derby Street Childcare Grand Opening drew over 300 guests and offered families a first-hand look at our state-of-the-art learning environment. Visitors explored brand-new Montessori classrooms, where children engaged in practical life stations, sensory play, and skill-based learning designed to nurture independence, spark curiosity, and support each child’s unique journey.
As part of the festivities, families enjoyed tasty refreshments, interactive Montessori activity, $500 educational hamper giveaway including a signed Penrith Panthers jersey and warm conversations with our passionate educators. The day was a true celebration of community, learning, and fun, further elevated by the support of special guests Melissa McIntosh – MP for Lindsay, Councillor Garion Thain – Penrith City Council Deputy Mayor, Councillor Hollie McClean and Father Charbel Abboud. Their presence highlighted the importance of expanding access to quality early education for families in Penrith.
