A Commitment to Our Team
At Montessori Academy, we are deeply committed to appreciating our incredible team of educators and support staff. In early December, we proudly announced that we will be participating in the Federal Government’s 10% pay increase for all Montessori Academy centre-based staff, including Area Managers, Centre Managers, Educators, Family Care Team, and Kitchen Hands.
This pay rise is part of the Federal Government’s worker retention initiative and is aimed at acknowledging the hard work and dedication of our team members.
Key Highlights of the Pay Rise
- 10% Pay Increase: The pay rise is based on the award rate for current roles and came into in effect in December 2024.
- Future Pay Increase: An additional 5% increase will be implemented in December 2025 for eligible staff.
- Montessori Academy’s Support: We are covering the cost of 10% pay increase while our funding application is being processed.
