On Saturday 14th February, Montessori Academy celebrated the grand opening of their new Gregory Hills Childcare and Early Learning Centre at 87 Lasso Road, Gregory Hills NSW 2557. The much-anticipated event brought together local families, educators and community leaders to mark the opening of this beautiful new early learning centre.
More than 400 guests attended the Gregory Hills Childcare Grand Opening, enjoying the centre’s thoughtfully designed Montessori learning environments. Families explored brand-new classrooms tailored for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, with practical life activity stations, sensory experiences and hands-on learning materials that nurture independence and confidence.
The event was a vibrant celebration of community. Children enjoyed fresh pizza baked onsite, colourful face painting and engaging sporting activities, while parents connected with our passionate educators to learn more about the Montessori approach to early childhood education. A highlight of the day was a special appearance from local football team Macarthur Bulls and their mascot Arthur the Bull, who delighted children and families with high-fives, photos and reflected the strong sense of community partnership within the local Gregory Hills community.
We were honoured to welcome Camden City Council Mayor Therese Fedeli, Councillor Peter McLean, and Fr Charbel Abboud from St Raymond’s Parish, whose attendance reflected the importance of expanding access to quality early learning in the growing Gregory Hills community.
Montessori Academy Gregory Hills is more than a childcare centre, it is a purposeful Montessori environment designed to support children from infancy through to preschool. Conveniently located in the heart of Gregory Hills, the centre provides families with a trusted early learning option focused on independence, school readiness and lifelong learning.
Families who were unable to attend the Gregory Hills Childcare Grand Opening are warmly invited to book a personalised tour and discover how Montessori education can support their child’s development.
