Montessori Academy is excited to announce that construction of our new Glebe childcare centre, located at 158 Bridge Road, is now complete.
The centre is currently being fitted out by the Centre Set Up Team and is expected to open in August 2015.
General Manager for Centre Operations, Meray Parsons, said: “Our new Glebe childcare centre has a pioneering design that combines the beauty of old-world Sydney with the highest standards of modern Montessori Education.
“Our goal for this centre is to create a learning environment that provides children with the foundations for forward thinking, creativity, and a love of learning that lasts a life time,” she said.
Located within the historic architectural structure, previously known as ‘The Abbey,’ Glebe Montessori Academy will approach early learning with a focus on teaching children independence, the skills for community cooperation, and strong fundamentals for literacy, numeracy, geography, art and culture.

Glebe Montessori Academy will be the fourth Montessori Academy childcare centre to open in Sydney City, joining existing centres at Barangaroo, Victoria Park, and King Street.
Once open, the centre will provide long day care for 80 children aged six weeks to six years.
