About our Engadine Montessori Academy Child Care Centre

Engadine Montessori Academy is a 75-place child care centre catering to the needs of families with children aged six weeks to six years. We are proud to deliver a modern Montessori Curriculum that is melded to the Australian Government’s Early Years Learning Framework. We specialise in hands-on learning based on the natural development of the child.

Especially unique about Engadine Montessori Academy is our commitment to excellence in all aspects of early childhood education. This commitment is reflected through the engaging design of our learning environments, excellence standard for teaching, and passion for the Montessori philosophy of education.

The history of our Engadine campus is also highly relevant to the local community. Located in the left wing of the historic Boys’ Town Hospital, Engadine Montessori Academy has been painstakingly designed to activate each child’s own natural desire to learn, while also retaining the cultural integrity of the building.

The heritage architectural features of the building have been painstaking restored, and several displays have been established to pay tribute to the history of the building. We are greatly looking forward to beginning classes and getting to know our new community of students and families.
