Construction Begins at Engadine Montessori Academy

As a response to the rapid population growth in the outer suburbs of Sydney, Montessori Academy is happy to announce that our newest centre will be based in the southern suburb of Engadine. The planned early learning campus will cater for 80 children from 0 – 6 years of age.

The works will be a partial renovation and refurbishment of the existing Dunlea Centre at 50 – 52 Waratah Rd, in the heart of residential Engadine. Construction has commenced, and will hopefully be finished in January 2017.

Engadine Montessori Academy will introduce Engadine and the surrounding areas to the Montessori philosophy, including the guiding role of the teacher, the prepared environment, and the self-correcting materials.

Montessori Academy Director Colette Assaf has expressed her excitement at the opportunity to welcome new families to the Montessori Academy community.

“By providing children with hands-on learning experiences, Montessori maximises children’s learning during the most crucial stage in their development, the first six years of life. Montessori Academy ensures all children are prepared not just for school, but for life.”

Engadine Montessori Academy is part of Montessori Academy’s growth strategy for 2016 and 2017 where we are looking to open 3 new centres around Sydney. Once complete, Engadine will be our 25th Sydney based centre, and join our 29 childcare centres worldwide.
