On Thursday 15 May, Montessori Academy hosted a stall at the Auburn Careers Expo to provide local jobseekers with information and advice about careers in Early Childhood Education.
More than 300 job seekers attended the expo to take part in interactive workshops, access advice on job searching and resume writing, and explore career opportunities available in Auburn and Greater Western Sydney.
The expo also provided jobseekers with the opportunity to meet with prospective employers, learn about the skill requirements for different industries, and to network with like minded jobseekers.
WHS Area Manager, Lamisse Kazzi, said: “The Auburn Careers Expo was a great opportunity to meet with jobseekers one-on-one, and to truly get to know what they’re looking for in a career.
“We met with a number of passionate Early Childhood Educators who could be a definite fit for the Montessori Academy community.
“It was great to see so many jobseekers accessing the resources available to link up with potential employers and begin their career journey” she said.
The Auburn Careers Expo was organised by Auburn Employment Working Group, Auburn City Council, Breakthru People Solutions, Department of Human Services–Centrelink, Inner West Skills Centre, Ability Options, TAFE NSW and Settlement Services International.
