On Saturday 30th January, Montessori Academy hosted its first Family Fun Day at the company’s newly opened Alexandria childcare campus.
The Fun Day was a community barbeque event that invited the local community to view the childcare centre’s vibrant facilities, meet Alexandria Montessori Academy’s teachers, and participate in a full program of events that included Kindifarm’s baby animals, Fairy Wishes face painting, and one-on-one centre tours.
Hundreds of local families gathered to take part in the celebrations, sharing a sausage sizzle and a coffee, as they learned about the benefits of Montessori early education.
Centre Manager, Katie McClelland, said that she was overwhelmed by the positive response from the community.
“It was wonderful seeing so many local families enjoying the festivities and getting to know our team of passionate early childhood professionals here at Alexandria.
“We are beyond excited to be able to provide such a high quality infant, toddler and preschool program to the families of Alexandria, and are greatly looking forward to demonstrating the benefits of Montessori early education to our families and the wider community,” Katie said.
Alexandria Montessori Academy officially opened it’s doors in November of 2015 and is now taking enrolments for children aged six weeks to six years.
The Alexandria campus is fully catered, sun safe, allergy aware, and provides educational development programs for all ages.
