New Childcare Option for Macquarie Park

Montessori Academy has completed construction of its newest childcare centre, located at 12 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park. The centre is expected to open in early June 2015.

Montessori Academy, who now have 20 childcare centres operating mostly across Sydney, will offer a Montessori early learning experience that caters to children aged six weeks to six years. Once open, the centre will accommodate up to 90 students.

General Manager for Centre Operations, Meray Parsons, said this new development is a major milestone for Montessori Academy’s rapidly growing community.

“Our Macquarie Park centre will provide families that live and work locally with a new option in childcare that is truly unique.

“The campus has an innovative design, exceptional outdoor play areas, and classrooms that have been fitted out with the highest quality Montessori materials available internationally,” says Meray Parsons.

Director of Montessori Academy, Colette Assaf, said they were very excited to introduce the Macquarie Park community to Montessori Academy’s philosophy of education.

“This new centre will approach early education with a focus on creating a learning environment that supports and nurtures the development of each child’s unique talents and abilities, while allowing them to progress at their own pace.

“Our Macquarie Park centre will deliver Montessori Academy’s signature point of different, including state-of-the-art Montessori classrooms, natural outdoor play areas, a network of talented early childhood professionals, and premium Montessori resources,” says Colette Assaf.

Macquarie Park Montessori Academy will be taking expressions of interests from May for a scheduled opening in early June 2015.

“Our Macquarie Park centre is set to be a living example of Montessori Academy’s efforts to continue set a new standard for early childhood education.

“It is our ultimate aim to create a place of learning that cultivates independent learning, high level literacy, and a life-long love of learning that is holistic.

Macquarie Park will the second Montessori Academy childcare centre to open in Northern Sydney. This centre will be the 20th Montessori Academy centre to open internationally, including 19 locations in Sydney, Australia and one childcare centre in Shanghai.
